I think Mr. Alexander's time in Vietnam brings a credibility to what is in the book though I'm sure it's not an overall reflection of all that was going on during Dragon Lady is a highly entertaining book that I heartily recommend.

Gary Alexander was one of 17, US soldiers in Vietnam that spring. When he left in the fall, there were 75, troops in-country. He is the author of several mystery novels, most notably the Buster Hightower series, and numerous mystery short stories. DRAGON LADY is his first literary novel.
